Like everybody else on Lopez, the S&S bees are feeling the call of an early spring. This past week we encountered members of the hive exploring newly-opened blossoms all over the farm, perfectly complementing our reading and discussion of Rudolph Steiner’s Lectures on Bees this week in the winter reading intensive. Our musings on the cosmic and harmonic life of the bien, or bee superorganism, were accompanied by a soft but determined buzzing. We look forward to seeing more of our pollen-loving friends as we enter warmer weather.
